Cynthia Romano is a New York City based commercial photographer specializing in still life, fine jewelry, luxury watches and timepieces, fragrances and cosmetics, and animation product photography. Cynthia is also known for her home decor, food & beverage, and on-figure photography. She is well-known among luxury brands and retailers for consistently delivering high-quality images while also offering a unique artistic perspective.

Cynthia graduated from Rutgers University with her BA in fine arts and photography. Shortly after graduation, she began working with J. Crew, where she perfected her art for studio photography. Today, Cynthia has well over a decade of experience working for high-end retailers and luxury jewelers.

When she is not in the studio or photographing for a project, Cynthia enjoys exploring various cultures around the world, through cuisine and art. She also has a soft spot for animals and is currently obsessed with her cat, Ramsay. He even has his own hashtag, #Ramsay_the_Cat. Although Cynthia has a great love of big city life and all that it offers, her Jersey roots keep bringing her back to the refreshing water and the warm sunshine of the beach.

CUSTOMIZED PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES

Cynthia offers customized photography packages to suit each client’s specific needs. If your company is looking for a one-stop, full-service photo shoot, she has you covered. Having worked in NYC’s photography industry since 2001, she has access to an extensive network of the industry’s top talent including art directors, stylists, and retouchers as well as relationships with both big and small rental studios. For start-ups, Cynthia consults on developing your brand’s imagery style. She will conceptualize and self-style jewelry and hard goods shoots. Clients outside the NYC metro area are welcome to ship their products for photography services. For photoshoots that do not require a team, Cynthia shoots in her home studio, conveniently located in Downtown Jersey City.
