Portrait of Creative + Art Director: Sheilini Nadia Singh
It was such a pleasure photographing this creative headshot and lifestyle portrait for Sheilini Singh. Sheilini is by far, one of the most talented art directors that I have worked with in the fashion industry. She is known for her cheerful personality, great style and attention to detail. Sheilini always demands the best on set and will not compromise for less, which means that I am sure to produce some of my best work when collaborating with her. These portraits were photographed solely with the natural light provided through an apartment window.

Sheilini concepted a unique and creative, portfolio viewing experience for her website. The J.Crew catalogs, once art directed by Sheilni, are given new life though her stop motion art direction. I photographed these with soft natural light which showcases the catalog imagery. This was an especially fun assignment for me because I had photographed many of the still life images in these catalogs. When viewing Sheilini’s website, you may recognize images from my portfolio.
